NBC10 Philadelphia announced today that veteran journalist Jim Rosenfield will join the station as 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. weeknight anchor starting Sept. 9. Rosenfield comes to Philadelphia from NBC-owned WRC in Washington, D.C., where he has been a weekend anchor and reporter.
An Emmy-award winning journalist, Rosenfield will share the evening anchor desk with NBC10 veterans Renee Chenault-Fattah and Vai Sikahema, as well as Jacqueline London, who joined NBC10 in March 2013.
During his time at WRC, Rosenfield was an integral part of the station’s team coverage of Hurricane Sandy and its aftermath. He covered the Paula Broadwell/General Petraeus story as it broke and was part of NBC4's live coverage of President Obama's second inauguration in January, where he reported throughout the event from the presidential reviewing stand on Pennsylvania Avenue.
